Suspicious Foursquare Invitation to Connect

Today I received a Foursquare invitation to connect with Eko.

I don’t know any Eko’s, let alone from Indonesia. The guy has 0 check-ins, 0 night outs, and yet has more than 1,100 friends. I’m sure that you would also think Eko is not your old pal who wants to connect so you can get together for beer.

This is what I was talking about in my previous post “How I use Foursquare“. Too many people are way to careless with the information they share with strangers.

After all, Foursquare is a service for telling people where you are!
