It’s been a year since we’ve been back from Japan. While in Japan we would hear stories about people frustrated or unhappy with their mobile plans. I guess now it is our time.
When I signed up with FIDO I was supposed to get a promotion that would wave our signup fee, $50. They said the promotion would be applied later. Months go by and I don’t see anything. I call and they tell me that because a small change that happened during the signup process the promotion didn’t go through, but they reapplied it. It’s been more than a year and no promotion has been applied.
I’ve wasted more time following up with nonsense than the promotion saved me.
So I look around, there are better plans for similar price. Rogers would give me more data, 5G over 4G (currently), and all the same things for the same price. I’m going to switch.
Just out of curiosity I searched for FIDO plans… take a look at what they offer me (right side) and what they advertise in their website for new customers, this is without any promotions.
