Farewell ASICS. Thank You!

June 17, 2017 by Jose Uzcategui 2 Comments

My ASICS badge

After three and a half years, yesterday I left the office for the last time as a member of the ASCIS Global Ecommerce team. I am going to miss ASICS and the people I worked with.

A lot happened under the ASICS umbrella. I came to Japan, got married, had my first child, made good friends and grew as a person and as professional.

I’m tremendously proud of my accomplishments while working with the team. We revamped the analytics implementation to a point where competitors were copying us. We introduced a framework for conversion testing across all regions. We equipped the Global team with the right tools to monitor and grow the digital business.

To all my coworkers, thank you.

To all the people I had the pleasure of working with, thank you.

Special thanks to Nmodal for being outstanding at guiding and advising on automation, ETL and data manipulation. Their tool, Analytics Canvas, was really critical in working with our different data sets – particularly Google. I learned a lot from you guys.

Also David Vallejo for providing top notch skill, creativity and guidance on analytics implementation that make sense for business. I learned a lot.

Of course I interacted with many people and agencies during these years and they all helped the business and me – I am grateful.

As the ASICS chapter comes to an end, a new one starts in two days.

…stay tuned.

Thanks Yehoshua! I’m sure we’ll be crossing paths again sooner than later 🙂
